nevisAppliance-Based Installation

For a nevisAppliance-based installation of nevisAdmin 4, perform the following steps:

1. Get the required images:

   • nevisappliance-install-<version>.iso
   • nevisappliance-admin4-os-<version>.img
   • nevisappliance-admin4-nevis-<version>.img
   2. The images can be downloaded from the Nevis Portal.

2. Boot from the ISO image and do the basic server setup.

   1. See the nevisAppliance Technical Documentation for details.

3. Copy the *.img files to your server via SSH.

4. Apply the *.img files as follows:

   update-nevis.sh <path>/nevisappliance-admin4-os-<version>.img <path>/nevisappliance-admin4-nevis-<version>.img

5. Reboot the server:

   reboot

6. Continue with Initial Setup.
