  ): void | Promise<void>

  The method that will be invoked till either the user provides the old password and a new password that conforms with the format specified by the PasswordPolicy, or till the operation is cancelled (through the PasswordChangeHandler.cancel), or till the password authenticator is permanently locked because the user provided too many times an invalid password.

  Parameters

  • context: PasswordChangeContext

    the context.

  • handler: PasswordChangeHandler

    the object that must be invoked with the new and old passwords.

  Returns void | Promise<void>

  void, or a Promise when implemented asynchronously. If the returned promise rejects, the error is logged and the operation is cancelled through PasswordChangeHandler.cancel instead of being left waiting indefinitely.
