Federation

Federation allows applications to trust identities from external identity providers. Instead of creating separate credentials in every application, users can authenticate with an existing account from a trusted identity source.

In NevisID, federation capabilities are provided by nevisMeta.

What you can do​

  • Connect trusted identity providers and relying parties.
  • Configure standard federation protocols such as OpenID Connect and SAML.
  • Exchange identity information through claims and attributes.
