Breaking changes and required actions
The following components have breaking changes compared to the previous release, or require specific actions. For more details, have a look at the release notes of each listed component.
- nevisAdmin 4: SAML SP Connector patterns, if configured, may need to be updated.
- nevisAuth: For SAML Identity Providers, specify the AssertionConsumerServiceURLsto prevent XSS attacks, or explicitly disable URL enforcement.
- nevisLogRend: jQuery was upgraded to version 3.4.1 for security reasons. Update your login templates to use this version.
- nevisMeta :
- The web-based migration tool is replaced by a command line tool.
- Header changed in the REST API.
- nevisProxy: The UnbluFilter may behave slightly differently.
You can directly update to this minor version from any previous minor LTS-2019 version. If you skip versions, see the section "Breaking Changes / Required Actions" for the skipped versions, too.
