Breaking changes and required actions
The following components have breaking changes compared to the previous release, or require specific actions. For more information, see the Release Notes of each listed component.
- nevisProxy: Due to an improvement for IPv6 support for your backend connections in the web.xml, nevisProxy may fail to connect to the backend.
- nevisProxy: Due to the Apache upgrade to version 2.4.52, the functionality controlled by the undocumented bc property ch.nevis.navajo.RestartAfterHsmError does not work anymore.
- nevisProxy: In the ModSecurityFilter, the logged line for matched rules is refactored.
- nevisAuth: LitDict files are loaded as UTF-8 character encoded
- nevisLogRend: .jsp path access to templates is no longer supported as outdated backward compatibility is removed.
- nevisIDM: Property security.properties.key is now mandatory.
Every RR (minor and major) may contain breaking changes. See the release notes of the component you are upgrading. You should always stay up to date on the RR branch. If there are multiple releases between your current version and the version you are upgrading to, see the release notes of each version.
