Batch User Import

With the user import feature, the user administrators can create users via an Excel file. The users can be created with or without credentials. The following credential types are supported by the user import feature: password, URL ticket, Kerberos, SecurID, generic credential, PUK, OTP and mTAN.

nevisIDM provides an Excel template that can be filled in and uploaded by the user administrators. The Excel file is parsed and validated by nevisIDM. If the validation is successful, the listed users are recorded within nevisIDM.

Authorizations

No special authorizations are required. If an administrator already has the right to create users in certain or all units, the administrator will also have the authorization to do that by means of the batch user import. For creating users with credentials, the administrator has to be authorized to create credentials.
