Classic Deployment is retiring May, 16th 2029

On May, 16th 2029 the Classic Deployment options (RPM and nevisAppliance) will be retired. To ensure full support ensure to start planing the upgrade to our Kubernetes- or SaaS-based deployment options by that date.

As part of this retirement, starting May 2026 the Classic Deployment options (RPM and Appliances) will be available only on LTS-24 and LTS-26. Therefore, for the upcoming May 2026 Rolling Release (RR), there will be no RPM or nevisAppliances available, only Docker Images for Kubernetes.

What does this mean?​

Please be aware that after this date the aforementioned rolling releases will get limited support as described on the Rolling Release Lifecycle documentation page. To ensure the continued stability and security of your systems, we strongly recommend planning your migration as soon as possible.

What can I do now?​

The next supported upgrade path for all users on these rolling releases will be to move directly to the next Long-Term Support (LTS) version, which is scheduled for release in May 2026. We will provide detailed migration guides and support resources closer to the LTS release date.
