Six months RR cycle announcement

Rolling Release (RR)​

Starting in May 2024, the Nevis Identity Suite will switch to a six-month Rolling Release cycle, with releases in May and November. In short, fewer releases and longer support.

What does this mean?​

  • Rolling Release "Full support" period will increase from 3 to 6 months.
  • Rolling Release "Fade-Out support" period will increase from 4 to 7 months.
  • Customers will have 12 months to upgrade to the next Rolling Release version.
  • Customers will have to upgrade at least once per year to stay supported instead of twice.

The definitions of “Full support” and “Fade-out support” remains unchanged. See Rolling Release (RR).

Long-Term Support (LTS)​

Except for the extension of LTS-21 support, the Identity Suite LTS lifecycle will remain unchanged. See Long Term Support (LTS).
