Breaking changes and required actions
The following components have breaking changes compared to the previous release, or require specific actions. For more details, see the release notes of each listed component.
- nevisAdmin 4:
- If you use inventory secrets, you may have to reset the admin password.
- Changes to Kubernetes deployment.
- nevisAuth: The Nimbus oauth2-oidc-sdk library was upgraded. Custom AuthStates may need to be adapted.
- nevisIDM: Changes in the truststore usage and the configuration for outbound TLS connections.
- nevisLogRend:
- For security reasons, the standalone server now supports less TLS protocols and ciphers by default.
- jQuery was upgraded to version 3.5.1 for security reasons. To use this version, update your login templates.
- nevisMeta : Changes in the way a new database is created.
- nevisProxy:
- The defaults for the UnbluFilter changed.
- Customers that use the dynamic session store, which includes all nevisAdmin 4 customers, need to run a database SQL command.
- Some certificate-based logins may behave differently due to changed SSLCache behavior.
- KeepAlive now defaults to "true" for connections to application backends ( HttpConnectorServlet / HttpsConnectorServlet).
