Architecture Overview of nevisAdapt

This chapter shows how nevisAdapt is integrated into the Nevis Identity Suite. There are two integration options:

• Direct integration into nevisAuth (recommended)
• Risk plug-in in nevisDetect

In both cases, the system uses a client certificate for authentication when it calls the nevisAdapt service from nevisAuth or from the nevisDetect Core component. The technical user role and the required permissions are assigned by default. However, you still have to properly configure the keystores and truststores.
