Upgrading from nevisAdapt 7.2505.4.0 - 7.2505.5.0​

Step 1: Installation​

Install the following packages on your servers:

  • nevisadapt (v7.2505.5.0)
  • nevisdetectcl (v7.2505.5.0)

Step 2: Configuration files​

By default, event-based authentication will disregard all event rules in case of untrained users and forward the next step to the untrained flow. There are two events however that still take precedence over the untrained flow, make sure that your configuration handles them properly:

  • ip-reputation-blacklisted
  • suspicious-country

Step 3: Database​

No changes required.

Step 4: Start​

Start the nevisAdapt and nevisAuth components.
