Installation of nevisDetect Core

You install the component nevisDetect Core by means of the software package nevisdetect-core-<version>.noarch.rpm, according to the description in the chapter General installation.

During the installation of the software package, the jar files of the plug-ins and their configuration are extracted into the directory /var/opt/nevisdetect/core/plugins/.

To modify or add/remove plug-ins, perform the following steps:

1. Edit the /var/opt/nevisdetect/core/conf/plugins.properties file.
2. Add/modify the configurations in the /var/opt/nevisdetect/core/plugins/ folder.
3. Restart the server. The plug-ins are loaded during the startup of the server.
