Central management

All Nevis software components as well as the server hosting those services are centrally managed by nevisAdmin. nevisAdmin communicates to the nevisAgent installed on every server which in turn controls the Nevis software components used on the local server.

Make sure you have ordered the necessary firewall rules to access the nevisAdmin web front-end by using your browser (TCP port 8037) and to allow the communication from nevisAdmin to the nevisAgent instance of each server (TCP port 9094).*
