Known types

For certain PUT (update) operations, working with the basic type is supported (e.g., when changing only the name of an object). In any other case, you need to work with the real type of an object. This especially applies for POST (create) operations where the real type is mandatory to create a new object (i.e., nevisProxy).

We advise you to execute a GET operation on an existing object to see the supported object types and the required data structure. A GET operation on the type resource (/administration/type) lists all known types.
