Installation

This chapter describes the steps to install nevisIDM as Linux RPM package. The package name is nevisidm.

Installing nevisIDM

Proceed as follows to install the package on Linux:

# rpm -i <nevisidm-RPM>

Uninstalling nevisIDM

Proceed as follows to uninstall the nevisidm package:

# rpm -e nevisidm

Software upgrade

Proceed as follows to upgrade to a new software version without changing the configuration:

  • Uninstall the old package (see Uninstalling nevisIDM].
  • Install the new package (see Installing nevisIDM].

Migration from adnjboss to adnwildfly​

There is no direct way to migrate from adnjboss to adnwildfly, Create a new instance that uses adnwildfly and adjust the configuration.

Upgrading the DB​

How to upgrade a nevisIDM database depends on the version of your nevisIDM installation. Therefore, refer to the release notes of your nevisIDM version for details about upgrading your nevisIDM database.
