Deployment

You need to create the proxy instances manually before deploying the new failover cluster configuration. To do so, click the relevant nevisProxy service in the navigation pane of the Operation tab. In the view on the right, go to the Installation panel and click the Create button (no.1 in the figure below).

You can now deploy the new configuration. The nevisAgents will automatically start the nevisProxy instances on one of the two servers.

tip

Don't forget to define the static routes to all target servers (e.g., the server hosting nevisAdmin or the servers which host the applications). You may use the "nevisappliance" command line tool to do so.
