Assigning authentication procedures to SSO domains and applications
nevisAuth supports the selection of authentication steps and infrastructures on various levels. Selection criteria are:
- The SSO domain the caller wants to work in (the caller is, for example, the reverse proxy).
- The application resource (e.g., the URL) the caller wants to access.
If an application in the Nevis reverse proxy should use other authentication mechanisms than the already running default infrastructure, you may need to add a selector to the nevisAuth configuration. This selector will establish an alternative entry point for the other authentication mechanism(s). See the chapter Token assembler for more information on the Selector attribute.
