Breaking changes and required actions
The following components have breaking changes compared to the previous release, or require specific actions. See the release notes of each listed component.
- nevisAppliance: The Splunk forwarder is updated to the 8.x series (from 7.x).
- nevisAuth: For SAML, SHA256 is now the default sign algorithm.
- nevisFIDO: The Facet Information endpoint has been deprecated.
- nevisIDM: Custom batch jobs are deprecated.
- nevisProxy 3.14.3.4:
- To improve perfomance of MariaDB session cleanup, manually execute database SQL and configuration changes.
- nevisProxy 3.14.3.6:
- Default session cookie behavior has changed for requests that take place during the authentication phase (IdentityCreationFilter).
- The attribute SetEnvIfCmpPlus now causes an error for any invalid extra argument.
You can directly update to this minor version from any previous minor LTS-2019 version. If you skip versions, see the section "Breaking Changes / Required Actions" for the skipped versions, too.
