Breaking changes and required actions
The following components have breaking changes compared to the previous release, or require specific actions. For more details, have a look at the release notes of each listed component.
- nevisAdmin 4: You have to execute a database SQL script manually to fix a minor permissions issue. This can be skipped if the Import inventory from Zip function was never used in the past.
- nevisAdmin 3: RPM users should install (instead of upgrade) the new RPM to avoid missing symlinks.
- nevisProxy: Includes a behavior change for automatically re-sent SAML POST requests: The response from the content provider is handled differently.
- nevisReports: Two upgrades:
- JasperReports Server, to version 7.8.0.
- Elastic Stack, to version 7.9.
You can directly update to this minor version from any previous minor LTS-2019 version. If you skip versions, see the section "Breaking Changes / Required Actions" for the skipped versions, too.
