Create an Access Key

Your applications use the Access key to access the Authentication Cloud API.

Keep your Access Key private

The Access Key gives access to your Authentication Cloud instance to any application that uses it. Make sure it is properly safeguarded, and never shared with anyone outside your organization.

Create an access key​

  1. Go to the Nevis Portal, access the management console, and under Settings, click Access keys.Add custom integration
  2. Click + Generate access key on the top right of the page.
  3. Set a Name that clearly identifies your key.
  4. Provide some information in the Description field such as what the access key is used for, or the domain of your backend application.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Copy the Access Key.
  7. Click Next and Done.

Display the access key​

  1. Under Settings > Access keys, find the key you want to view.
  2. Click Show key beside the acces key name.
  3. Click the copy icon.
  4. Note down the access key for later use.

Now that you have your access key, you are ready to try the test the Access App.
